Is Vitamin B your friend for a healthier gut?
There is a thin dividing line between vitamin B consumption and overconsumption. When you do consume adequate amounts of vitamin B you have better skin, better digestive health, optimal muscle functioning, better release of toxins from the body, including excess protein accumulation which can cause gout-like symptoms which can turn into arthritic conditions for the body.
Here’s what I’d love for you to watch for:
– Add some amazing rainbow colours to your food, each day or every alternate day.
– Don’t rely on a single source of food for one nutrient value, for instance we get B12 from leafy greens, mushrooms and even meats and poultry, mix around your intake for better digestion as well.
– Be mindful about the variety you’re consuming and make a chart initially to get on track with it.
– Realize these are micrograms or milligrams consumption which need to be consumed in “complex system” as in with other nutrients so that they are digested well. B vitamins are metabolic vitamins which aid in digestion so don’t just add a “chemical” in your body to satiate the need.
Balance your food intake daily as the rewards of that on your body are PHENOMENAL. And if you need help with your health and nutrition, reach out. I’m always happy to serve.
