Who loves a good ramen bowl?
May 24, 2020
Well, I guess, EVERYONE! Almost everyone. I’ve shared quite a few noodle items on my stories but here’s a wholesome dry ramen that I love making.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 bunch of soba noodles
- 1.5 cups of finely julienne vegetables such as coloured capsicum, green onions, cabbage, mushrooms, carrots.
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
- Dried or fresh birds eye red chili
- 1 cup of water.
METHOD:
- Use a deep pan to boil water, add the soba noodles to that and keep for 5 minutes, till noodles are soft, yet not too gooey as soba cooks very quickly.
- Use another pan and add a teaspoon of sesame oil. And add the veggies to this and lightly cook.
- Drain the water from the noodles and add the noodles to the pan of veggies.
- Mix well.
- Add the remaining teaspoon of oil and salt, along with chili and sesame seed.
- Stir well.
Serve and enjoy hot!
